Description: Monday is an original mixed media abstract on stretched canvas. I was experimenting with a wood stain as well as with earth tone oils. Once I had a base coat of brown, I decided to liven it up with blues and greens. I used burnt and raw sienna for the background. This abstract has a beautiful contrast in color. Remember, all monitors color differently. Monday may appear brighter or darker on your screen. I have tried to represent the true color of the painting to the best of my ability and did not alter it in any way. This painting is hand stretched on stretcher bars measuring 30"x40". It is 1.5" deep with painted edges. It is signed, dated, and has a wire back ready for hanging. I will carefully wrap it in air filled bubbles and ship it to your home or office in a new box.
